Getting started

We provide a three-day trial period for all tariffs available in your account.

To start using the trial period:

  • Click the "Buy Package" button after logging in.
  • Select the desired configuration and click the "Buy package and subscribe" button.
    The cost of the trial ($ 1.99) and the full version will be displayed.
  • Fill in the blank fields and activate the trial version. You will also receive an email confirming the withdrawal of funds.

Three days after activating the trial period, funds will be automatically debited from your account for the package to which you subscribed. (Click "Cancel subscription" in your Froxy account if you decided that this package is not suitable during the trial period. In this case, the money will not be debited from your account).

You can upgrade to the full version before the end of the trial period. Click the "Switch to full version" button in your Froxy account. We will activate the complete package.

The trial package has the following configuration by default:

Connection type Residential proxies (Wi-Fi or Mobile)
Number of ports Depends on the complete package you chose at the beginning.
Targeting All Geo with IP access from over 185 countries, + Targeting accurate to city and provider
Traffic limit 100 Mb

IMPORTANT! To work with a proxy, bind the IP address of your device to the packet (click the "IP Whitelist" button).

  1. To create a new account, fill out the registration form.
  2. After registration, you will receive an email. To complete your registration, follow the confirmation link in this email.
  3. If you haven’t received a confirmation email - contact our specialists via chat (in the lower right corner) or email.

To buy a package, follow these steps:

  1. If you have signed up, click "Add proxy" button in your dashboard.
  2. Select a package with suitable parameters for you and click the "Start now" button. By doing this, you confirm your subscription to this package. By default, all packs have a trial period of $ 1.99 (you can decline trial period by choosing corresponding option – checkbox).
  3. Next, a payment window will open. The amount that needs immediately is displayed here - $ 1.99 for a trial period. You will see a description of the package and the amount automatically charged after the test period.
    Click the "Proceed to the Checkout" button if you agree to the payment terms.
  4. In the new window that opens, enter your data (using the Latin alphabet).
  5. Select a payment method and fill in all the fields for the transaction

The following payment methods are currently available:

  • Cards
  • PayPal

Our clients connect through nodes (real devices - laptops, smartphones, etc.). The IP addresses of the nodes are used as proxies. About 8 million devices connected to the Internet around the world are in our pool.

In some cases, clients need proxies from certain countries, regions, cities, or providers. To do this, you can use the filter in the Customer Dashboard. A system will generate a password after specifying the required values ​​in the filter. This password specifies specific values ​​for the proxy fields.

If you do not use a filter, nodes from any cities/regions/providers will be used as proxies. You specify the proxy location and its binding to the provider after entering the parameters in the filter.

Ports are used for the simultaneous operation of a large number of connections to the proxy. Real devices used as proxies can go offline. In this case, there is an automatic switching (rotation) to another device, which is suitable for the filter conditions. The IP of such a port changes when the node changes.

In some cases, forced rotation is used (switching to other nodes/devices with different IP addresses). Switching occurs at specified intervals that you configure yourself. Forced rotation works even if the node is online.

Residential proxies use IP addresses that providers give to "real" devices – PCs, laptops, etc. From the side of the target services, they have the highest level of trust.

Residential proxies are rotated. IP addresses change if the device is offline.

Mobile proxies use IP addresses which belong to the device connected to the 3G/4G network. They have the maximum degree of trust from the services. Most popular with web resources.

Froxy does not currently provide data-center proxies. But we are working on it!

Blacklists are databases of suspicious IP addresses. These can be addresses from which were found suspicious activity (like spam, DDoS attacks, other illegal activities). Often the IP addresses of bona fide users fall into blacklists. For example, several recipients of your company's mailing list complain about spam, or the mailing does not comply with the rules of postal services - this may be a reason for placing the address on the blacklist. In addition, these databases often include addresses that for testing.

Different blacklists use different algorithms for detecting "suspicious" addresses. Therefore, the IP address may be in one database and not in another.

When ordering Froxy, you get a certain number of ports. For example, if the package includes 600 ports, you can make 600 connections to different IPs.

Additional ports need for large companies with a large number of employees. As a rule, for stable operation, 2-3 ports per employee need.

Ports may be needed for specific tasks related to receiving large amounts of data in a limited time. For example, if you need to analyze 1500 web pages, you need to have 1500 ports for parallel operation and simultaneous loading. Otherwise, the work will be performed in stages, waiting for the necessary ports to become free.

ATTENTION! The number of requests per port should not exceed 30 per second. Requests go into standby mode if the load is exceeded. It can reduce the efficiency of your package.

We try to ensure the most efficient service work. However, there are external factors that can also affect the speed of work. You can improve the speed of the proxy by following several recommendations.

  1. Connect to a different port. You will have access to a new node of the same filter.
  2. Change the targeting settings in your Froxy account. Connection speed may be slower in some countries.
  3. Check the network connection of your device. Connect to a resource without a proxy and check the download speed.
  4. Wait for the automatic rotation.

You can also contact technical support. Our experts will perform manual speed testing and help increase the speed of the service for your package.

Many target services use Geo-DNS to balance the load and reduce response times. Based on the user's IP, Geo-DNS renames the requested domain to the server IP preferable (usually closer) for the user's location.

In Froxy, you can find out at what level you need to perform DNS distribution - at the level of an IP proxy or a gateway server.

All DNS queries are performed on behalf of the server if you set the value to "Server." Compared to DNS Resolver: Node takes less time. However, this reduces the level of trust in the client on the part of the target service (the client's location does not correspond to the server whose IP transmitted). Such activity can be regarded as "suspicious."

For example, a US user connects via NL server and proxy IP to website.com. The client is connected to the server located as close as possible to the node's carrier if DNS Resolver: Node.

If DNS Resolver: Server, then the user will always connect to the target resource server located as close as possible to our NL server.

By default in all packages Froxy DNS Resolver: Node.

In some cases, you need the maximum connection speed.

  1. Verification of advertising. Many advertisers independently check how their ads work. With the help of resident proxies, you can check the correctness and legality of the services that provide advertising.
  2. Travel aggregation. It includes a comparative analysis of prices for flights, rental housing, transport, and services. You can select any region/city and conduct an assessment from the point of view of an ordinary client.
  3. SERP (search engine results page). Connection speed is important for getting information from search results. Therefore, Froxy uses a set of configurations that provide the maximum speed.

Web scraping is a technology for retrieving data from web pages.

For effective use of this technology, the connection speed is almost irrelevant. At the same time, a large number of connections needs. Web resources can block attempts to connect from one address to a large number of pages. Therefore, it is important here to use the maximum number of ports with different IP addresses.

In addition, the performance of web scraping depends on the time intervals between requests. You can force Froxy to rotate to change IP addresses and improve web scraping efficiency.

Connection recommendations

You can manually configure the proxy on Windows or Mac OS.

Windows 7/8/10

  1. Press "Windows + I."
  2. Select "Network and Internet" - "Proxy Server" tab.
  3. In the "Manual proxy configuration" section, enable the "Use proxy server" function.
  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Address - IP address or domain name of the serve.
    • Port - the port number to be used
  5. Click "Save" for the changes to take effect.
  6. When you open any browser and try to enter any website, system will require to enter «Username» and «Password». You can find this information in Customers Dashboard. Enter «Username» and «Password» to get an access to the proxy.
  7. Now, you can start working with the proxy.

Mac OS

  1. Open the Apple menu.
  2. Select "System Preferences" - "Network."
  3. Select the type of connection - usually Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  4. Click "Advanced" - "Proxy" tab.
  5. Select the HTTPS or Socks protocol and enter the server details:
    • Address - IP address or domain name of the server
    • Port - port number to be used
    • Username and Password - information from the "Quick Access" section in your Froxy account
  6. Click "OK" for the changes to take effect.

By default calling proxy settings in Google Chrome redirects you to your OS proxy settings. But also you can use some extensions for Google Chrome browser.

For connecting to a proxy in Google Chrome you need to install an extension, like FoxyProxy or Proxy Auto Auth.

FoxyProxy for Google Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome webstore: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions
  2. Search for FoxyProxy extension
  3. Install Foxy Proxy
  4. In the Google Chrome choose FoxyProxy extension and choose «Options»
  5. Click «Add New Proxy»
  6. In this window insert all necessary information (Host or IP-address; Port; Username; Password). You can find this information in Customers Dashboard.
  7. Click «Save»

Proxy Auto Auth for Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome webstore: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions
  2. Search for Proxy Auto Auth extension
  3. Install Proxy Auto Auth
  4. In the Google Chrome choose Proxy Auto Auth extension
  5. In opened window insert «Username», «Proxy password» (this information you can get from Customers Dashboard)
  6. Click «Save»

SimpleProxy for Opera

  1. Open Opera addons: https://addons.opera.com
  2. Search for SimpleProxy extension
  3. Install SimpleProxy extension
  4. In the Opera choose SimpleProxy extension
  5. In opened window choose «Add proxy»
  6. In opened window (on screen below) fill all necessary information (you can find this information in Customers Dashboard)
  7. Click «Save»

FoxyProxy for Mozilla Firefox

  1. Search for FoxyProxy extension: https://addons.mozilla.org
  2. Install Foxy Proxy
  3. In the Mozilla Firefox choose FoxyProxy extension and choose «Options»
  4. Click «Add»
  5. In this window insert all necessary information (DNS name or IP-address; Port; Username; Password). You can find this information in Customers Dashboard.
  6. Click «Save»

Proxy Toggle for Mozilla Firefox

  1. Search for Proxy Toggle extension https://addons.mozilla.org
  2. Install Proxy Toggle
  3. In the Mozilla Firefox click on Proxy Toggle extension with Right Mouse Button and choose «Manage Extension»
  4. In showed menu choose «Options»
  5. In this window, insert all necessary information (Proxy type; Host; Port; Username; Password). You can find this information in Customers Dashboard.
  6. Click «Save»

By default calling proxy settings in Safari redirects you to your OS proxy settings. But also you can use extensions for Safari browser, like Preproxy

Preproxy for Safari

  1. Open Safari browser
  2. In Safari browser choose «Extension»
  3. Search «Preproxy»
  4. Install Preproxy extension
  5. Open «Applications» in Apple Toolbar
  6. Open Preproxy
  7. In this window, insert all necessary information (Address; Port; Username; Password). You can find this information in Customers Dashboard.
  8. Click «Start» for starting using proxy
  1. Open «Settings»
  2. Choose «General»
  3. Choose «VPN»
  4. Choose «Add VPN Configuration»
  5. At the bottom of menu you will find «Proxy», choose «Manual»
  6. In this menu switch Authentication toggle «On» and fill all necessary fields (Server; Port; Username; Password). You can find this information in Customers Dashboard.
  7. Tap «Done» button in top right corner.
  8. Now you can use proxy via your Apple device.

A proxy server is a convenient and effective tool for a secure connection to the Internet. When connecting to your local network, a proxy server used will act as an intermediate link between you and the Internet. All nodes on the Internet will identify the proxy server, not your device.

On Android, you can customize the design settings for each Wi-Fi network. For example, when connecting to corporate, home, or other networks. All browser traffic will be routed through the specified proxy server.

To setup proxy for your Android device follow these steps:

  1. Open «Settings»
  2. Open «Wi-Fi» section
  3. Choose Wi-Fi network to which you’re connected
  4. Choose «Advanced»
  5. Tap on Proxy mode and switch it to «Manual»
  6. In this menu, fill all necessary fields (Proxy host name; Proxy Port; Username; Password). You can find this information in Customers Dashboard.
  7. Tap «Save» button
  8. Now you can use proxy

Working with Dashboard

Your subscription can have several statuses:

  • Activating (it means that setup process has been started and you need to wait a little bit to setup process be finished, it takes not more than 20 seconds)
  • In trial (it means your subscription is in trial status with its conditions)
  • Active (your subscription is active according to your plan terms, you are able to use our services without any limitations)
  • Non-renewing (it means that your subscription will not be renewed within billing plan terms and it will be cancelled when the next billing date comes. It is an intermediate status before subscription cancellation, so you can use proxy until the next billing date comes)
  • Paused (it means your subscription time remaining was paused and you will not be able to use proxy until you resume subscription)
  • Cancelled (your subscription was cancelled due to non-payment or at your initiative)

When you initiate the cancelation of your subscription it will change its status to Non-renewing. It means you still be able to use a proxy for the rest of the paid period. When the next billing date comes your subscription will automatically be cancelled. When your subscription is paused you can’t cancel it. First, you need to resume it.

You can bind the device's IP address to the packet using the IP Whitelist. It needs to authorize your requests on the proxy server.

Click the "IP Whitelist" button to bind an IP. You get two slots free (you can change IP free without restrictions inside each slot).

The price of an additional slot depends on the package used. To clarify the cost, contact the support service.

If you are using a dynamic IP (or cannot use IP Whitelist for another reason) - contact the support.

You can use residential proxies for rotation and flexible configuration of IP addresses.

By the organic rotation, the system changes the IP address every time the IP goes offline. It ensures a stable connection to the proxy.

Forced rotation is a mandatory change of the IP address within a certain period (90-3600 seconds). The default is 3600 seconds.

Please notice: organic rotation does not have an influence on forced rotation. For example, if your forced rotation value is 3600 seconds, and the IP address to which you connected to goes offline earlier than 3600 seconds (your forced rotation value), then the IP address will change automatically (organically) regardless of the forced rotation value you'd set.

Login-password authorization used for manual (and quick) connection to a proxy. It is consists of the following elements:

  1. Login - the package you are referring to.
  2. Password - geo-parameters of the connected proxy: country, region, city, provider, connection type. (The symbol ";" or "_" as a separator).
  3. Domain/IP - domain name or IP address of the server you are requesting to connect to the proxy. When generating a proxy list and when updating the Personal Account page, different servers are offered. It allows you to distribute the load and ensure maximum speed.
  4. Port - from 9000 to 9999. (Depends on the number of available ports in your package).

Templates for generating a proxy list:

You can upload a proxy list for several countries at once, regardless of the number of available ports in your package.

Please notice: all changes you've performed in this section doesn't have any influence on other sections and they don't save!

Authorizing by login-password, you can bind the same IP to any number of packets.

Package Traffic Spend progress bar shows you how much traffic have you spend from you current package limit. For example, you've ordered package with 3Gb traffic. Progress bar will show you how much traffic have you spent form this value (like 1Gb/3Gb, where 1Gb value is your current traffic spent and 3Gb is value of your common package traffic limit). Traffic limits will revenue when your subscription prolongates. Notice: non-used trafic do not migrate to your next billing period!

Time remaining progress bar show you how much time left before next billing date. Froxy provides customers with monthly-billed subscriptions and milli-second based calculation of time. Within prolongation of subscription, time remaining bar will correspondingly change, so you will always be able to see, how much time do you have before you subscription expire.

Froxy provides you with option to pause subscription at any moment you want.

When you pause your subscription:

  1. Remaining time is paused.
  2. Your access to proxy stops.
  3. Next billing date changes according to a pause time (for example, if you have active subscription starting on March 1st with next billing date on April 1st and you paused it on March 5th and resumed it on March 7th, your next billing date will become April 3d).

If your next billing date falls on the time of pause, you will not receive an invoice.

You will be invoiced when you resume your subscription (for example, if you have active subscription starting on March 1st with next billing date on April 1st and you paused it on March 30th and resumed it on April 3d, you will not receive an invoice on April 1st, but you will got it when you resume your subscription, on April 3d).

You can pause your subscription only if it is active.

You can pause your subscription with no limitations to attempts. Use it whenever you need with no additional charges.

You can cancel your subscription if you don't want to use Froxy services.

Subcription cancelation (if you have active subscription) works in this way: when you initiate subscription cancelation, your next billing date will be eliminated and you can use proxy till you current billing period ends (for example if you have active subscription starting on March 1st with next billing date on April 1st and cancel it on March 20, you can use proxy till April 1st and will not be charged on April 1st ).

You can cancel your subscription when you subscription is active or in trial.

If you cancel your subscription there will be no refunds (you can explore all refund cases in our SLA).

You will not be able to reactivate cancelled subscription, so please be sure if you really want to cancel it. This action will delete your subscription when it ends.

Follow these steps for login-password authorization:

  1. In Customers Dashboard select the Export Proxy List button.
  2. Next, select the required list format:
    • File (TXT, CSV format)
    • Link
  3. Select filters:
    • Target country, Region, City, Provider (ISP)
    • Port (required number of ports)
  4. Select Domain address (if you want domain addresses to be listed).
  5. Select an IP address (if you want IP-addresses to be listed).
  6. The proxy type is HTTP/SOCK5 by default.
  7. Press "Save" button for downloading proxy-list

Authorizing using a username and password:

  1. In the control panel, go to the "Login/password access" section.
  2. Below the Password field are the geo-targeting settings:
    • Internet service provider
    • Country
    • Region
    • City
  3. The password will change depending on the settings you have set.


In the billing section you can see all invoices you’ve received for all your subscriptions. All information about invoice date, invoice number, payment date, invoice status and total amount is displayed. Also you’re able to download any of your invoices. If you click on the Show more button you can see information about the transaction to the chosen invoice, including its number, status and amount.

Invoices can have several statuses:

  • paid (when invoice is in paid status it means that all payments have been collected correctly and you can continue working with our services).
  • payment due (this status means that charge for this invoice has been attempted but has failed, some problems occurred).
  • not paid (it means that invoice has not been paid yet).

In the Billing settings section you can manage your payment methods. Adding new ones, updating information, choosing which payment method should be used as primary or secondary, deleting non-relevant payment methods -- all you need for being actual and avoid troubles occuring performing payments.

If none of the offered payment methods are not applicable for you, please contact our sales department and they will find a solution for you. Instead of basic payment methods (cards and PayPal), any other payment source would work on the Balance basis. It means that every amount you have paid via alternative payment source will fall to your Balance and from this Balance you’ll be able to pay your services.

If you want to use any alternative payment method (like Bitcoin) please follow these simple instructions:

  • Contact our sales department
  • Tell our team which payment method you would like to use for your payment
  • Follow next instructions from our sales team
  • All funds you want to use will be added to your Balance
  • Next payment will be performed using your Balance credits

Please notice that you need to check your Balance before the next billing date comes. If there is not enough funds in your account, your Subscription will be cancelled accordingly with its terms and conditions. You can see your current Balance status in Dashboard. If you combine basic payment methods (cards or Paypal) with the Balance, you need to know that firstly, funds will be issued from the Balance. And if there are not enough funds on your Balance, your card or Paypal will be applied.

You can top up your Balance using Promotional coupons on a fixed amount. This amount will fall to your balance and will be used within the next billing date. Please notice, that if you have both Promotional credits (which you gained from Promotional coupon) and general Balance replenishment on your Balance, the first credits which will be used are Promotional credits.

If you have initiated a refund according to our SLA, all funds will be refunded to your payment source.

which was chosen for this payment. For example, if you have paid via card, refunded credits will fall to your card. Notice: you can’t initiate a refund for a payment performed fully or partially with Promotional credits.
